INTOUCH HEALTH WINS 2007 3G A-LIST AWARD
InTouch Health’s 3G Mobile Broadband Solution Judged Best Implementation in Healthcare

Santa Barbara, CA, October 29, 2007 – InTouch Health®, today announced that it is the recipient of a 2007 3G A-List™ Award. The Qualcomm-sponsored awards program, now celebrating its fifth year, recognizes innovative and successful enterprise wireless data solutions based on 3G CDMA standards (CDMA2000®/EV-DO and WCDMA/HSPA). During CTIA Wireless I.T.® & Entertainment 2007 in San Francisco, InTouch Health was honored with a 3G A-List Award in the healthcare category for utilizing 3G wireless solutions with their Remote Presence robot, RP-7™, enabling physicians to see their patients from virtually anywhere, anytime.

InTouch Health uses 3G wireless technology in their Remote Presence robotic solutions to allow doctors more access to care for their patients. Physicians can use their Laptop ControlStation, a specialized computer used to control the RP-7 robot, with an EV-DO Rev. A card to connect into their hospital. Using Remote Presence, physicians can consult with patients and staff more readily and frequently, thereby improving physician efficiency, hospital throughput and quality of care. With the capability of EV-DO Rev. A technology, physicians can maintain personal attention to their patients while being away from the hospital.

“The growing shortage of healthcare professionals has increased the demand on physicians’ time,” said InTouch Health’s CEO Yulun Wang, Ph.D. “InTouch Health is offering Remote Presence robotics as a solution enabling doctors to provide higher quality patient care when they are unable to be physically present. With 3G mobile broadband solutions, physicians are able to connect to the RP-7 remote presence robot from virtually anywhere, giving them greater accessibility to reach their patients. We are honored to be the recipient of Qualcomm’s innovation award.”

“Qualcomm is delighted to recognize InTouch Health as a 3G A-List Award winner,” said William F. Davidson, senior vice president, global marketing and investor relations for Qualcomm. “This year’s winners from around the world have successfully utilized wireless technologies to improve the way that they do business.
