Clinical Applications Manager
InTouch Health seeks a highly motivated individual for a Clinical Applications Manager position based at its corporate offices in Santa Barbara, CA.
As a member of the marketing team this key individual is responsible for defining and building the company’s remote presence ICU solution, and for providing direct support to the sales force to successfully sell this solution to hospital customers. The Clinical Applications Manager reports directly to the Vice President, Strategic Marketing.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties Include:
* Manages the development of a Remote Presence “total solution” product for the critical care market.
* Creates customer implementation tools for adoption of this product. Becomes the company expert for implementation in areas such
as Joint Commission and HIPAA compliance, physician liability, clinical protocols, hospital business models, etc.
* Provides direct support to the field sales team through training and applications consulting.
* Works closely with hospital customers to derive case studies and clinical papers.
* Creates sales tools such as presentation slides, white papers and other materials.
Skills & Qualifications:
* A bachelor’s degree is required (advanced degree preferred) along with 2-3 years experience in product management,
clinical/procedure applications development or healthcare consulting/services. Will consider recent MBA or MPH graduate with
healthcare background.
* A motivated self-starter with a strong passion for success
* Excellent communications skills including presentation and writing skills – able to articulate product, technology, clinical applications
and outcomes information
* Strong analytical skills:
- Able to efficiently research and synthesize information and create concise summaries
- Able to quickly understand and evaluate healthcare business models
* Able to build strong relationships with customer users, nurses, and operational leaders. Has credibility when proposing
solutions to
operational and implementation issues.
* Creative, driven, oriented towards a "quick win" fast paced environment and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Pluses:
* Experience building a product or service line in a healthcare environment
* Familiar with hospital processes (Joint Commission, standards of care, protocols)
* Familiar with clinical study activities and requirements
Salary range: $58k to $78k commensurate with experience. We are a dedicated, entrepreneurial group, eager to make our mark. We provide an excellent benefits package and stock options.
