Manufacturing Engineer
InTouch Health produces remote presence robots for the healthcare industry. These systems allow a user from a control station to drive the robot at a remote location and interact with people at that location via 2-way audio/video conferencing.
InTouch Health is seeking an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Engineer position that assures the consistent production of high quality products.
Responsibilities:
* Transition new designs to manufacturing.
* Design test processes and fixtures.
* Specify components to replace obsolete off-the-shelf components.
* Develop production processes for new designs.
* Root cause PCA and system failures.
* Drive investigation of deviant parts.
* Clarify part requirements with suppliers.
* Enhance existing production and quality assurance procedures to improve yield and reliability.
* Perform product safety testing for regulatory compliance.
* Test and debug printed circuit assemblies.
Knowledge, Skills & Ability:
* Knowledge of quality systems
* Experience with production of electromechanical systems
* Good writing skills
* Strong organizational and communication skills
Qualifications:
* AA Electronics (or equivalent) and a minimum of 10 years work experience with electronic/computer or
electromechanical systems or BSWE and three years experience
Salary dependent on experience.
