Assembly Technician
Electromechanical assembly of high quality products.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
* Electromechanical assembly of robot components and subsystems
* Preassembly of computers for ControlStations
* Develop and improve production procedures, travelers and processes.
* Ensure complete documentation of all assembly and test processes performed.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of production processes.
* Debug and repair mechanical assemblies.
* Shipping, receiving and inventory control tasks as required
Knowledge, Skills and Ability:
* Experience with production of electromechanical systems, particularly robotic or motion control systems
* Experience with computers and computer subsystems
* Knowledge of quality system requirements for production processes
* Computer skills: Functional understanding of basic functions of MS Word and MS Excel
* Strong communication skills: able to edit and improve written procedures and processes.
* Strong organizational skills: maintains orderly work cells; contributes to the professional presentation of the Production Area.
Qualifications:
* Education: High school graduate
* Experience: 2-5 years experience with electromechanical systems.
* Must be able to move/transport robots, weighing over 200 lbs (with wheeled assistance) and frquently lift up to 50 lb.
